membership fees​​

Annual membership is £25, covering the period from 1 April to 31 March.

A reduced membership fee is available for anyone joining after 1 October. For those who wish to become a member on or after 1 October 2026, a discounted price of £12.50 will apply. Please contact us through our Contact page to receive the discount.

A discount code must be obtained directly from The Vale of Evesham Art Society before signing up at the reduced rate.

monthly meetings

Our meetings usually take place on the third Wednesday of each month* and are primarily held in person. Occasionally, meetings may be held online, for example via Zoom.

*The meeting schedule may vary, for example; when our Annual Exhibition is taking place. In which case a meeting will not take place.

Demonstration nights will not take place during December or during the month in which the Annual Exhibition is held.

workshops

Throughout the year, the Society offers workshops led by experienced artists.

​

Workshops are available to members for £45 per workshop. Non-members are also welcome to attend at a cost of £65 per workshop.

Workshop dates, artists and booking information will be advertised separately.

annual exhibition

The Society holds an Annual Exhibition of members’ original artwork each year.

Members wishing to exhibit must have a current and fully paid membership in place at the time of entering their artwork. Further information and exhibition entry requirements will be provided to members nearer the time.

photography and video

By becoming a member of The Vale of Evesham Art Society, you agree that photographs and videos taken at Society meetings, workshops, exhibitions and other Society events may include you and may be used to promote the Society and its activities.

Images may be used on our social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook and Eventbrite, on the Society website, and may be shared with local third-party news and tourism organisations, both online and in print.

 

These third parties include:

• Broadway News

• Visit Worcestershire

• Visit Evesham

 

If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please contact the Society before attending an event using the contact details below. We will make reasonable efforts to respect your wishes.

 

Images will be securely stored for up to two years, unless consent is withdrawn sooner.

copyright and use of artwork images

Members retain full copyright ownership of their original artwork.

​

By becoming a member and submitting artwork for inclusion in a Society exhibition, you grant The Vale of Evesham Art Society permission to photograph, reproduce and publish images of your artwork for the purposes of promoting the Society, its exhibitions and related activities.

This permission may include, but is not limited to:

• The Society website

• Social media posts

• Exhibition catalogues and brochures, in print or digital form

• Press releases and promotional material

• Promotional emails

• Local news and tourism publications

 

Where reasonably practicable, the Society will credit the artist when reproducing an image of their artwork, using the artist's name.

This permission does not transfer copyright ownership of the artwork to the Society. The artist remains the sole copyright owner of their work.

The permission applies to artwork submitted for Society exhibitions and is intended for promotional and publicity purposes only. It does not give the Society permission to sell, licence or commercially exploit the artwork itself.

By completing your membership application, you confirm that:

• you have read and agree to these Membership Terms and Conditions;

• you agree to the use of photography and video as described above;

• you grant the Society permission to use images of artwork submitted for Society exhibitions for promotional purposes; and

• you retain full copyright ownership of your artwork.

 

These terms apply for the duration of your membership and to artwork submitted to the Society during your membership.
