Now, how will you get paid and how much, if your lovely art sells....
MONEY MATTERS:
COMMISSION:
The VofEAS accepts the payment for the sale of the work and will deduct a 15% commission, before payment is made to the artist, after the exhibition.
INSURANCE:
Whilst every reasonable care is always taken to safeguard the art on display, neither The VofEAS or Lifford Hall can accept responsibility for any loss or damage. Exhibitors should arrange their own insurance, if required.
REFUNDS:
If work is rejected, because it does not conform to the 'Conditions of Entry', the entry fee is non-refundable.
Please help us to not get flustered on the day, by keeping to a few basic requirements....
HOUSEKEEPING (or 'How we like to run it'):
HANDING IN VENUE:
Lifford Hall, Broadway between the hour of 8:30am and 10:00am. Please do not come earlier than this, as we will not be ready before this time! You will only see the team running around with tables and easels, all hot and bothered.
CHECKING IN YOUR WORK:
-
There is a table in the outside hall to unwrap your work before you hand it in. Please do not bring the packaging into the hall, we get in a mess! Please allow time for your work to be 'checked-in' by the exhibition stewards, so we know we have it.
STEWARDING:
-
Every artist with work entered is required to help with the stewarding of the exhibition. It's actually great fun and an opportunity to talk to visitors and other VofEAS members! Please take a look at the Stewarding calendar and fill in a slot. If you cannot, for any reason, fulfil your slot, please arrange for a substitute to do your bit for you. Don't come crying to the Exhibition Team!
COLLECTION:
-
Unsold work (hopefully none!) to be collected between 5pm and 6:00pm on closing day. Please do not remove work prior to this date and time and allow the steward to 'check-out' your work, so we don't stress that we have lost it!
PARKING:
-
If you are Stewarding or Artist in Residence, you can park around the back of the hall in an unrestricted parking bay. Please DO NOT park in the Residence Only bays or block in their cars. Disabled visitors may also park around the back, also in a non-residence bay.
FINAL BITS AND BOBS:

-
No changes can be made to the title and price of a piece once the entry form has been submitted. It creates such a muddle!

-
The Exhibition Team reserve the right to reject any entry which does not conform to the above Conditions of Entry, or for any other reason they may consider appropriate.

-
Please, don't leave your business cards or any artist leaflets in the exhibition hall with your work. They will be removed. We like to keep the room tidy to show off all our members work, equally.

There, that is it. Simple really!
If you have any questions. please get in touch with a
member of the Exhibition Team and we are looking
forward to a great exhibition, full of your gorgeous work!!
