My love of painting and drawing started for me at a very early age that continued until I left school with an 'O' level in Art but after that the desire to create pretty much stopped. The passion was rekindled some years later for a short time, painting and drawing with my children and even though I enjoyed every minute with them it wasn't enough. Finally, when they were both at university I joined an art class and almost 20 years later I'm still painting.

 

My favourite medium is acrylic, but I enjoy working in oils and getting messy with pastels. Landscapes and portraiture are my passion to paint and I like to achieve a good likeness, but with a stylised finish or, for something completely different, create an abstract painting.
