Based in my home studio in the Worcestershire village of Charlton, I create contemporary landscapes and seascapes inspired by the natural world.

 

My work focuses on colour, texture and  atmosphere, using oils with cold wax medium and acrylics to build layered, expressive paintings.

Experimentation is an important part of my practice. I use a variety of mark-making techniques and materials to develop depth and interest while carefully considering composition, tone and balance.
