Annie Brenchley first enrolled in an art class over 20 years ago, simply as a way to meet people in Alvechurch. The class, led by the talented artist and inspiring teacher Terence Clarke, sparked a passion she hadn’t anticipated.

What began as a casual interest soon grew into a lasting commitment to painting. Although Annie has no formal training, she has continually developed her skills by attending workshops and classes, exploring new techniques and experimenting with different approaches.

Annie has been selected as a finalist for the Broadway Art Exhibition for three consecutive years. She regularly exhibits with The Art Room and Jephson Gardens Gallery as part of LSA (Leamington Studio Artists), and will also be showing her work at Art in the Park in Leamington.

Recently, Annie was Artist in Residence at the event, where she demonstrated her oil painting techniques. Looking ahead, she will be taking part in Warwickshire Open Studios at Coughton Court in June, followed by Worcester Open Studios in August 2026.
